Summer is Here!

The first few days of our summer activity weeks have been scorching, everyone (including the staff) are having a great time meeting new friends, learning new and exciting skills and today leaping off a 30 foot pole with a friend.  The perfect way to start the summer holidays.

I can't keep this smile much longer, there is an ant crawling up my leg.
Bush craft has proved to be a popular activity with imaginations running wild with the designs of bespoke accommodation.  New skills taught have been the safe use of tools, all of which were used to build shelters, porches, outside eating areas and in one case an outside loo.  Lifting and carrying, team work and just having time to run wild in the woods exploring, climbing and swinging.

Today's new skill was fire lighting with varying degrees of success, the competitive nature of some people shone through when a spark was needed to light the kindling.
We have made FIRE!

So over here is the new outside eating area.

Nearly through!

A desirable  residence in the woods.

If you go down to the woods today...
Hanging around with friends.
Today also brought a taste of the high life, our 30 foot Leap of Faith.  To truly share the experience you could leap with a friend, all under the watchful eye of our experienced and professional staff.  The activity starts with scaling a telegraph pole, negotiating an overhanging platform, standing up on a wobbly pole then waiting as the pole swings even more as your friend follows in your footsteps.  Once everyone is in place, everyone has started breathing again the count down starts 3, 2, 1 GO!  A small step for man, a very big leap for some of our adventurers today.
3, 2, 1, GO!

Please follow us for more updates, we still have spaces left in August.  So if you are interested please contact us to learn of availability and offers.
